National News: India has created a new history. Under this, India has tested the release of laser technology for the first time, which has been completely successful. With this important achievement, India has now joined select countries that have a laser -based defense system. After the US, Russia and China, now India has also been equipped with this state -of -the -art technology.
The historical test was successfully concluded on the National Open Air Range located in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. During this period, 30 kW laser beams developed by DRDO (Defense Research and Development Organization) were used. During this test, the laser beam killed stable wings and drones in the air without any obstruction.
India became the fourth or fifth country
DRDO president Sameer V. Kamat said, "America, Russia and China are already equipped with this state -of -the -art technology, while Israel is also working on developing it. Now India has also made an important step in this direction and has made itself with these powerful countries." In such a situation, India has become the fourth or fifth country in the world to successfully perform this technology. Kamat said, "This is just the beginning. We are working on many techniques that will provide us with capabilities like 'Star Wars' of the future."

Laser Directed Energy Weapon (Dew) systems identify goals with the help of radar or electro-optic sensor and then attack them at the speed of light. Fast and focused laser beams are so powerful that it can cut the structure of flying drones or missiles. In addition, this technique is also capable of making the explosive portion inside that missile or drone accurately. Thus laser technology can stop the enemy attack without the use of traditional weapons. This technique will reduce the need for expensive ammunition and additional damage during the war will also reduce.
DRDO is now also working on techniques such as high energy microwave and electromagnetic pulse. The purpose of these techniques is to develop such defense systems in the future that can deactivate any air or missile attack of the enemy without traditional weapons. Sameer Kamat expressed confidence that India will soon achieve even more success in this direction.
